Fish Stocking

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County will be stocking 7,000 Lbs. of rainbow trout in three of our lakes. We have done this for several years and it provides hours of fun for young and old alike. Just in, we also will be stocking Muskie in Mallard Lake on Sept. 20. The muskie will not be "keeper" size for several years, but you have to start somewhere. The muskie will help keep down overpopulating bluegills. With the new improvements that are happening in the West Branch of the DuPage River, fishing will be much better than in the past.

So grab a pole and your choice of bait and get fishing. Oh yeah, don't forget to have your fishing license on you.
